These Terms govern your use of chinamericanidol.com (the “Site”) and participation in voting for Chin American Idol (the “Competition”), operated by [Organizer legal name — to be completed]. By using the Site or casting a vote, you agree to these Terms.
Voting and payment
- Votes cost $1.00 USD each. There is no limit on how many votes you may cast. No account is required.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorize the charge for the number of votes you selected.
- All votes are final. Please review our Refund Policy before you pay.
- Votes are a paid contribution to support the Competition. They do not purchase any product and do not guarantee any outcome for any contestant.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if your card issuer requires it) to make a payment on the Site. By voting, you confirm the payment method you use is yours or that you are authorized to use it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to vote or to interfere with the Site;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, payment, or security measures, or submit fraudulent payments;
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site.
Integrity of results
The organizer may void votes that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, or made in violation of these Terms, and may correct technical or tabulation errors. The organizer’s determination of results is final.
Intellectual property
The Site, the Chin American Idol name and logo, and its content are owned by the organizer or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country — to be completed], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
